Churchyards

We are blessed with three beautiful churchyards.

Both Mickley and Bywell churchyards are closed which means that there can be no more burials there, although it is possible to re-open an existing grave for burial if there is room, or to bury ashes in an existing grave. Both churchyards also have Gardens of Remembrance for the burial of ashes.

The churchyard at Hindley is still open for burials. If you have any questions about burials in any of our churchyards, please contact the Church Warden via  stocksfieldchurchofengland@gmail.com.
