WHEN CAN I VISIT?

 

You are very welcome to visit St Peter’s and St John’s for private prayer and just to find some stillness at the following times, during which both churches will be stewarded:

 

St Peter’s: Sundays                     11.30 – 3 pm            St John’s: Wednesdays               2 pm – 5 pm

St George's: Open by arrangement

 

Our churchyards are also open to visit as is our 2020 Garden at St John's. 

 

WHERE CAN I PARK?

St George’s and St John’s both have good-sized car parks          .

There is no car park at St Peter’s but you can park in the lane leading up to the church

 

IS THE CHURCH WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

St Peter’s has flat step-free access via the south porch

St George’s has step-free access but there is a gravel path from the car park to the church door which may be difficult for wheelchairs.

St John’s has an access ramp to the side door.

 

DOES THE CHURCH HAVE TOILET FACILITIES?

St Peter’s has a chemical toilet across the churchyard which is accessed via some steps. We are at the beginning of the process of trying to install toilet and kitchen facilities within the church building.

St George’s dose not currently have any toilet facilities although we do have plans drawn up for the installation of such facilities.

St John’s has an accessible disabled toilet in the adjacent church hall.
